I have seen some beautiful abstract art on websites, but mine dont even come close to that. Yes I was kind of upset when I drew this.

I used different kinds of pencils my favs are watercolor pencils. You might look into inktense pencils. Good art stores usually sell them individually. I suggest them because they are ink based. You can use them as regular pencils or add water and use them as a wash under your wax pencils to give them a little punch. The colors are really vibrant. On sketch or drawing paper use less water and it will not ripple the paper. Because of the wax you cannot use them on top of the regular pencils though you should always experiment Derwent makes them.
