I'm sorry that you are going through so much. My grandma had Alzheimer's, so I know how taxing Alzheimer's can be for the family.

Why are you upset that your son is gay? If you are religious, there is a lot written about the biblical passages that supposedly condemn homosexuality. I am Christian and bisexual, and I believe that God blesses love in all its forms. If you are worried that your son will have a difficult life, know that people are getting more and more tolerant of non-heterosexual relationships. If you think that you will never have grandchildren, keep in mind that many gay couples adopt children and are excellent parents.

I hope that your life calms down soon, and you feel better. Do you see a therapist? It might be helpful for you to have someone to talk to about all of this.
