Thank you for the support and positive message. I have already experienced Alzheimer's through another family member, and I know how it can it be. I'm scared, and sad, but resolved.
Regarding my son, I am Christian, but I believe in forgiveness and that all sins are equal. I also have always believed that it shouldn't matter what someone else's sexual preference is unless you are planning on having a sexual relationship with them. I am thankful for him that there is so much more tolerance in today's generation, but I am also doubtful that his father and step-father will not find out before he is grown up & able to take care of himself. I am afraid of them both completely rejecting him and causing undue pain and stress in our lives.
