I thought (hoped) she had a sickness bug due to her low immunity, but apparently the med she's on to stop her immune system from attacking the liver can thin the lining of the bowel causing it to burst, which is what they think has happened. I've seen people with peritonitis die so I'm really worried. I'm stuck at home cos I'm babysitting my sister, plus I had to visit my grandfather with dementia to fill his med dispenser and check on him, picking up the slack from my Dad who's with my Mum at the hospital. I know I couldn't do anything in the hospital to help my Mum either, but at least I'd be with my Dad

Wow that is really rough...I'm so sorry about your mom but it sounds like you have really picked up the slack allowing your dad to be there for her. That's something to be proud about.
