I think for the most part, therapy is painful. It is easy to forget that the healing comes only after you've confronted your pain. That pain can be intensely blinding at times, so I hope you can be brave and continue working through it with your T.

I guess in that case, how do you deal with all the pain therapy is bringing up? I can't talk to anyone in my real life about this - that stuff is supposed to stay in the therapy room (or on PC) but unfortunately it doesn't, and that makes functioning rather difficult. I'm fine with distraction and whatever, but that always just feels like I'm biding my time waiting for my next therapy session, and that's not a good state to perpetually be in...
