I stopped communicating with my parents while they were in their winter retreat. I was straight up, telling them that I couldn't handle anymore how abusive they were to me as a child. Everything was fine, no communication, until they returned to town. Suddenly they want to talk to me again. I don't know what to do. I've been so great without them that it seems like talking to them would just be a huge mistake!
