After moving there from other states that were much friendlier, I never would have guessed this about Utah. This was not my experience or other transplants that I had met experiences either in the 5 years I lived there. I have lived much friendlier places. If we had converted to the predominant religion, things would have been different and were even told so as it would make our lives easier. I had problems managing the company I was brought in to help as the church was always butting in trying to manage it for me, despite it being a secular company. You could not pay me enough to move back there despite the stunning scenery of the mountains and outdoor activities, which I love and do recommend seeing. A place to visit for me, just not to live. It just isn't for everyone.
