After hearing about your hernias, I recommend leaving it all alone unless something becomes unbearable. I had a bilateral inguinal hernia repair done two years ago. It was recurrent from childhood and due to the groin pain, the surgeon was adamant about the surgery as there was too much risk of a strangulation when it's the second time. I do regret not stopping the surgery, as I am worse off due to scarring and pain that I was before.
You might understand that my statement about my sexuality was not to provide "TMI", but is a way for me to become more confident in and accepting of who I am and be able to stand up for myself. That way I can feel better about myself.
I hope that other can learn from my mistakes, because I vcertainly have.
