That's great pinksoil! Will you go to work as a counselor now? Any plans to continue further?

I have 5 classes left, and then practicum and internship. I'm looking forward to it but getting more and more nervous too. And I really enjoy most of my classes. I do learn a lot, and quite a bit I can use for understanding myself. I also find that I use my personal experience a lot in classes too. How about you?

I am starting Practicum/Internship in May. I'm so nervous about starting something so new and leaving what I refer to as my "comfort triangle"-- school, work, and home. Going to school to become a therapist while being on both sides of the situation-- as client and therapist-- has been incredible. Both sides feed each other, and I feel like it's essential to go to therapy if you want to be a therapist. You gain a much deeper understanding.

I'm applying for the doctoral program in a couple of months, with hopes to start in the fall of '08. If I don't get in then I will sit for the licensing exam to become an LPC. But I really, really, really hope I get in.

What are your plans?
