They should send you information on how to appeal, it should be in the denial letter. You have to call them and request an appeal and then when I appealed I got an attorney and was approved....some people are able to do it without an attorney though.

Exactly, there should have been information explaining how to file an appeal and an explanation of the time frame for filing that appeal.
