You are not alone. I am not bipolar...I have ptsd and sometimes I do not understand what sets me off. I got real lucky and found a primary care doc who is a magician with women's health and psych meds. He put me on a mood stabalizer...remeron....when SSRIs of every type had pretty much failed. It changed everything about my life. 1 medication was all it took but it took years to find the right one or rather the right doctor I guess. My advice is to keep trying. Most meds you gotta stick with for at least 3-5 months before u know for certain if u are gonna see a result or not. If not...on to the next option and encourage your doc to try out of the ordinary options if the ordinary fails because thats what worked for me in the end....you never know....
