Hi Carole, it is really good that you had such a positive experience and it seems like you can get really passionate about things you enjoy, which can be a great asset in life.
And you know that you'll have other positive experiences along the way........I mean you said there have been other events you've loved too.......so they do keep coming given time.
And for example, if you decided to work there, sure it would be different, but with your enthusiasm........!!
And the people there would still be the same if they were still there, right? The same attributes, the same personalities, the same supportive nature......And you know what, there may be a point at which you'd be helping other people just like you when you visited, now tell me that wouldn't give you a bit of a "buzz"!!
Now I'm not saying that you should necessarily go and work there, just that there are plenty of opportunities out there for you to have positive experiences.
And you can carry over things you learn, or pick up from, some positive experiences along the way too. Now those things can be invaluable and so precious, don't loose them!!
Like, if the people gave you confidence-keep it, if they showed you there can be really good people in life-keep it, if you admired someone's ability to be friendly-keep it (learn from it), if you found you could do more than you thought-keep it, if you found that with a little effort things that seem not so good can change-keep it.
You know the experience hasn't gone, none of the good experiences you've had are gone- they're still/can still be right there inside you.
And a lot of the experiences you have can help you to create even more positive experiences if you use them. Let them guide you as well, to a point, they're going to help you in deciding just where and how you want your life to go. They're going to help you in making the choices in life that are going to make you feel fulfilled and hopefully happy.
So cherish the good times, and let them work for you.
