rockgal, what would happen if you went off the xanax, as in, decreased it for, say, 2 weeks then stopped it altogether? Do that, then we'll talk.
I'm not trying to be mean. My point regarding benzos is that they are fabulous as long as you're on them AND have not yet built up a tolerance or dependency. Going off them is the problem. You really can't know what your situation is until you stop taking the benzo.
