Hi, Welcome,

I think a good place to start would be with your local Mental Health Agency and make an appointment with a Mental Health Professional for an evaluation in general and explain your concerns to him/her along with your husband who may be able to advocate for you in more detail what it is specifically he sees and that you may not be aware of other than what you have shared here.

I took a test that included a dose of medication then took the test again, to determine my Adult ADHD. This was done at the Mental Health Center. In my experience, Psychiatrist normally monitor and prescribe the ADD medications when deemed necessary. This is all I know of as far as starting the process.

Hope it all works out well and please let us know if you have had success in getting evaluated or treatment and if / how it is going.

Best wishes and good luck to you in finding out if you have ADD / ADHD this is a good place to begin learning about and getting support for ADD and ADHD.

I know it is difficult to find out things on ADD / ADHD for adults, as many studies are limited to children and adolesents. Though I believe they are beginning to do more studies aimed at Adult ADD / ADHD.

Take Care-Chris
