Wow. I never knew there was a name for this thing I have. YES....I have always had, to some extent, chronophobia. I seem to have an acute sense of the passing of time, of the limitations of time, of the inevitability of the death of everything and everyone. I am 51 and try hard not to spend as much time as I do running over and over in my mind how it can possibly be that my babies...who were just born "last week"??...are now 28 and 25 years old...how can it be that I was *just* graduating high school...and am facing menopause....

Then there's just that sense of each minute approaching...it's here...fading away forever...

I could go on all night.

So, yeah. I'm right there with you.

And I agree with D73 about trying to enjoy the minutes, rather than grieving their passage. Not easy, but we have to try.
