It is hard to be stuck in that place. I had antibiotics damage my body but they saved my life; I guess you have to decide if you want to take the antibiotic risks to save your eyes or not. There are no perfect medicines but they are all we have at the moment?

Infections have to be treated or the rest of your body could suffer worse (it could blind or even kill you). I would trust the doctor to know better than I did about what would/would not help my hurt eye and my father to want the best for me and I would use the antibiotic.
