To expand on that...when reading that horror novel, it doesn't make much sense to us if we don't read ALL the chapters leading up to as well as surrounding the big event, then the resolution, ya know?

Know that those "small chapters" are just as important as they feel. It will prove so as you continue on in therapy.

I had so many HUGE realizations from the small stuff...so much so that I can't express how important it was in healing.

Go ahead, "dramatize".
