It's hard to be around people for me too so yr not alone. You shared that yr emotions go up and down which happens to me all the time. I just try and ride it out...distract myself with cleaning, drawing, watching tv, talking to a trusted friend, read threads here or do nothing at all. Do you work? I only work pt and it helps get out of my own head. I have social phobia but strangely I work with the public but it's a flexible job so that's why I keep it. Otherwise I'm on ssd so I get to stay home alot. Do you have friends you can talk to about yr feelings? Do you have a good t and pdoc? Therapy can really help us feel better about ourselves. I'm in dbt group which stands for dialectical behavioral therapy. It really helps me with feeling better about myself. It basically retrains yr brain to get away from only being in emotional mind. You learn to use yr emotional mind, yr logical mind and which puts you in wise mind. There's alot to it but that is the basis of it. Be easy on yr self. Try not to put yr self down. Maybe find a support group in yr area? We're here for you. Pm me if you want to talk. :-)
