I wish I could have the Pdoc I saw today for a Pdoc. Kind is an understated word. I spent the whole morning telling myself I needed to go, I got there just in time, I was the last one the Pdoc saw for the day.

There's a lot more but I'm too tired to post it here, just wanted to say I got positive nonjudgmental treatment. They listened and understood why I felt so scared of psych meds, validated things that have happened to me, really needed that. I start lamactil tonight, the starter pack, and lauda tomorrow if the pharmacy gets it in tomorrow. He said I didn't need to stay on the lauda just need it now in the short term. He also said the propranolol, and prazosin are great meds, but as I've been off them for so long not to start them until I know how I react to the other meds. I really appreciated that.
Propanalol will lower blood pressure and help with anxiety and tremors. Have you considered that the ER is an emergency basis only and not equipped to deal with long term ongoing mental health issues?
