This is a community psych emergency service, not a regular ER. But yes, I did go to my PCP and that didn't work out so well. I got a referral but it's months away. I'm not sure I have months. My main concern is not to end up in the hospital. PES gave me a list of mental health clinics that will accept me until I get my own Pdoc. That way I have someone to track the blood work and side effects. My insurance covers Pdocs but there aren't any where I live. I had no idea I could go to the community mental health clinic since I do have insurance. Those rules changed when the new health act regulations started this year.
