I don't know anything about Haldol. As for the hardly looking at you when he speaks thing though, I really have that problem sometimes. Sometimes I'll be talking to somebody and be thinking about my next sentence or something in the back of my mind. For me, I don't mean to look away when I talk to somebody, it's just a reaction thing. Oh, and it's especially terrible when I'm listening. I almost never look at people when they are talking to me, it's because I'm looking around and sort of imagining what they are saying instead of just listening. It bothers people a lot, but I just tell them it's what I need to do to really hear what they are saying...it's just how my brain works. It may be because I'm more of a visual learner or something of the sort.
I say if the guy says things that are good, stick with him. If he doesn't say worth while things and he doesn't look at you, then maybe confront him. If he wasn't respecting me I'd go bonkers.
