Firstly: Appeal Immediately~!! on the grounds that "Condition has worsened". that will save your spot in line, so to speak, keep your case active. then you can explain to your docs how debilitating your symptoms are. SocSec really only gives credence to medical reports. if there are some tests that can be done, that show your loss of function, consider having them done. it's best to have a GP and a Specialist agree on your loss of ability. they don't have to come right out and say: you can't work. but it helps if they say: over 50% loss of function.
also, you don't need a lawyer to file an appeal. Soc Sec denies almost everyone on the first application... it's cruel, but it works to cut down on their obligations. you don't have to send new doc reports with your appeal... just state the grounds for appeal, as: Condition has Worsened,,, and send the new reports before your next hearing. you might have to see one of their Medical Specialists, so be prepared and able to explain how your impairments keep you from being able to keep a job.
there are agencies that help people for free, i just hate to see that lawyer getting 25% of your back pay for doing a few hours easy work.
best wishes~
Gus
