TIA is a transient is ischemic attack. It's caused by partially occluded blood vessels in the brain, and can happen before a stroke. The signs are the same as stroke, but last less than an hour and go away on their own. It wouldn't cause the memory loss that yalalada is having, but the slurred speech is concerning. I'd be especially concerned with difficulty talking, headaches, or any sign of weakness or paralysis on one side of the face and/or body. What yagalada has is probably not a tia, but it is possible and should be taken seriously. Regardless, tge symptoms of memory loss and slurred speech sound neurological, and i wouldn't want to assume it's related to meds without getting checked out.
