[quote=littlemiss44;3700849]I would encourage you to try different meds. I can totally relate to you having memory problems. I can't remember my children's childhood...I can't remember movies I've seen. Maybe you are suffering from disassociative amnesia? Did you experience childhood trauma? I was told that there is a link to trauma and bipolar memory problems. Tell yr pdoc about this. I also have been told that memory problems can be from psych meds. If I had to choose between meds and getting my memory back I would choose meds. I have severe mi with bipolar depression, bpd, anxiety and ptsd. I HAVE to be meditated as much as I hate having to take them. I think we all wish we didn't have mi but it's about acceptance. I have to accept my illness or I'll go off the deep end. I wish you luck. U agree with everyone else...get in asap to yr pdoc. Take care

I have PTSD and suffered extreme trauma. My PTSD has gotten better over the years and I don't dissociate like I used to but I've been under a lot of stress lately
