Not by a psychologist but by my doctor and confirmed by the neurologist he sent me to. My doctor knows my history though I have not been extremely specific about my abuse. He emailed me today and said he thinks conversion disorder is very possible after doing some reading up on it and offered to refer me to a therapist. I told him I would rather just vent to him if it was all the same to him...that is if I choose to talk about my issues. He replied that he would be happy to listen if that's what I wanted but he wasn't sure if he was in a position to be a counselor which is fine with me because I don't really think advice at this point will do any good but letting it out to someone might. I have not decided yet if I am gonna talk about it.
