I think the main issue was giving the illness of anexoria a human face. I mean most everyone thought or thinks of Calisata Flockhart as anorexic in denial and some see dishonest answers from her when questioned about it. But yes they ,later go on to mention the fiscal "advantages" of such honesty. Overall, I feel that teens with the same issue might feel less intimidated to speak out and be aware beacuse of the Olsons. And, that the article was meant to make the disease mainstream, and not something experienced just from cover to cover of a magazine. That is just my take though. I could have done without the money aspect of the article.
