PLEASE MY FRIEND, FORGIVE YOURSELF!

Imagine that you are driving down a busy boulevard, and suddenly you have a heart attack, and crash into a number of people eating at a sidewalk hot dog stand. A few die of massive injuries, a few are crippled for life, and after much suffering, most recover. Do you blame yourself for what happened? Do you say to yourself, "if only I hadn't eaten all those high-fat foods for all these years?" Or "my doctor told me that I was at high risk of a heart attack - so I shouldn't have been driving and none of this would have happened." Nonsense!

My life has been so tragic that there are countless victims left behind in the wake of my manic/manic-psychotic episodes - but that just the way the cookie crumbles. Sure, you feel bad for those who've directly or indirectly suffered because of your illness, but it's not your bloody fault!

I've had two divorces, and I'm currently entering into my next intimate relationship. She knows the hazards, and hey, I'm not going to end up an old (outlaw) man stuffed away in my little dingy apartment watching cable TV until I die. It's your choice.
