I don't understand why anybody mails in checks anymore. If I do it is electronically from the bank and even that can get messed up sometimes. Heck I don't understand why anybody, even small businesses take checks anymore. Just not worth the hassle. I have a new account that doesn't even issue paper checks and the electronic ones don't even have numbers.
