Hello & Welcome, TSC2295. What you describe certainly could be depression. Have you discussed your symptoms with any medical personnel?

At least one past regular poster here was a student at a UK university, and the person worked both with the medical staff and a student support office (I don't remember what it was called) at the institution to help them through studies.
