Sometimes a nap is good with PTSD, I take little naps, I don't always actually sleep, but just rest my mind for 1/2hr to and hour the most. For me, it's like meditation and it stops my mind from winding up because of the PTSD. Then I can get up with a clearer head and the cortisol build up that sometimes happens without me even thinking about it, has gone and I just feel better.
As long as you don't allow yourself to sleep all day, but instead like you did, go for a bike ride or do something productive a nap is not bad.
