My back is bent, my head is down and my bones are broken but somehow i am sliding my body along the bloody battlegrounds. I like that...bloody battlegrounds. Its like life isnt it? You fight for your life everyday every second for that future freedom...the comrades in party lay dead or wounded...some are from the other team. Ones youve defeated...ones you have not. Those wounded depend on you to make the victory. They lay their waiting for the medical attention...the bandaging ...the healing. This is your battleground...they are simply for you or against you...getting hurt or getting satisfied during your battle. Some who fight for you and some who watch. And all you can do is keep fighting. No matter how much blood you lost, how many limbs you now have. Its that you keep going that is crucial. The instinct to live is far more powerful then the willing to die. You want to die but somewhere deep inside you is screaming. People scream to give themselves courage and to give themselves faith. It allows them to feel like an animal, a raging cannablistic animal. You hear that screaming and it is faint but it is still there. And that is why i have survived this far. To be honest Id be dead right now. Id be dead awhile ago. But then again so would alot of others...We have to fight. We cannot die and leave our wounded unattended. We cannot leave our dead unhonored. We cannot let ourselves be captured. Otherwise we would suffer a worse fate. We would suffer guilt and oppression. We would suffer idiocy and mockery. And all of our fighting and winning would be for nothing. We would go down with the cobwebs unpolished and unremembered. Wanted to be forgotten. Because we created pain. Im trying. My legs are cut off...and so are my arms...i lost my gut somewhere along the backline. And im still crawling. The enemy is surprised. Shouldnt i be dead by now? What they dont realize.I may have lost a few men...I may have lost my body parts. But i am still going.I may have lost a few battles...BUT I HAVE NOT LOST THE WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
