Evidently not here, Favoritex. I would say, though, that the answer would be "no," if someone else has tried. In your case and other folks like you, I'd say there's been too many problems, and as you say, you are not really helping him. Or yourself. I can't imagine that any attempted friendship would be a healthy and productive one.
