I think depakote ER is the extended release. As for hand tremors people on your other thread gave you some meds that can counteract. In the end it's your decision whether you want to stay on a med that gives you severe side effects or not. Lithium gave me severe shakiness which is why I ditched it. But it also didn't work for my moods...so if these are working you have to decide if you can deal with the effects or not.

Also get your depakote levels checked if possible, they may be too high. That's what happened with the lithium level for me but the dr didn't believe it becUse I was "on too low a dose for that". Yeah bloodwork doesn't lie biotch!
