I had a similar side effect. They put me on it while I was in the hospital. I don't remember the dose, but I don't remember much of anything. I think I was only on it for less than a week, but I slept most of the time, and when I wasn't sleeping, I just sat staring in complete brain fog. I had trouble understanding things.

It was so much of a hinderance that we didn't even wait to see if it would go away. Apparently my pdoc came during this time to see how I was and I don't remember a thing.
