I also don't think of this as any kind of issue. My parents were very big on hugs and kisses and I felt loved. But my uncle had an issue with boys kissing boys even as family. The first time I ran over to hug him at 4 years old I planted a kiss on his cheek and he put me down right away and made a negative comment. All I know is as a child I still remember that moment and how shocked I was as to me this was second nature to be this affectionate as I was raised that way.

The fact that your husband is attaching a "Sexual stimulation" label on this issue is what stands out to me personally.
