I don't think you have anything to worry about. It's okay to experience phases of feeling good and capable of walking on your own. Sounds to me like your Therapist is just wanting you to learn what those moments feel like so you could keep your independence and feel empowered. Seeing her once a month will be good for checking in and holding on to that connection for when you are ready for the next phase of therapy and it is time to start tackling other stuff. It never hurts to double check and bring up these concerns with your Therapist, next time you see her.
