Here's my proud mama moment for the year -- my H's cousin and cousin's daughter are in town. Cousin is a fairly nice guy, but a bit patronizing. He's from the East Coast and thinks Kansans are nice but not cultured, not as sophisticated, not as intellectual, etc. Anyway, he was making some comment about Shakespeare's birthday and quoted some Shakespeare and said it was from Romeo and Juliet. My daughter said the quote was from The Tempest, actually, and he sat there and looked at her for a second. Then realized she was right and looked quite shocked and surprised and told her that was a good catch. That's my kid!
