That is how I found my first therapist. Well, she came recommended to me by another coworker/friend and she happened to be covered, though I only had 3 sessions covered by my work program. I worked in a very gossipy place and no one ever asked me about it or talked about it behind my back. Only a few people knew, and that was because we were all seeing her for various reasons, but we never discussed our sessions. Just how much we liked her. They didn't tell my supervisor, because she was surprised when I told her, because of scheduling conflicts.

Also, I did have a choice of therapist with that program.
