Hi, all,

I'm in the process of getting help for coping with my ADHD. I have been trying to make a decision and just can't seem to be able to make up my mind.

I have great difficulty with time management, juggling all my responsibilities (at home and at work), making decisions in general, motivation -- the usual symptoms.

Back in February, I made flight reservations to go and see my mom and kids on the east coast, then fly to the Midwest to visit with a sick friend. I had a credit with a major airline from when I had to cancel a ticket last April that was going to expire.

Unfortunately, when I made the reservations, I checked with my mom and my friend about the dates, but completely forgot to ask my kids. I just found out this week that they're both committed to helping their dad move the weekend that I'll be there. There wouldn't much of an opportunity for me to see either of them without someone driving almost 3 hours each way.

So I checked to see what it would cost me to change the flights (again). It would cost me over $300, and that's flying from a different city that's farther away. I already paid a change fee and the difference in cost between the April 2013 flights and the upcoming ones. That cost me About $250. So if I make another change the fees alone would pretty much use up the entire credit. That's an awful lot of money to spend.

I really want to see my kids, but is it worth it to spend all that extra money and time? I need to figure this out as soon as possible. The way it stands now, I leave on the trip next Wednesday, 4/30.

Thanks for any and all opinions!
