If you got it to stop bleeding, you should be okay. You could invest in some steristrips to close the gap and aid the healing but you've essentially done all you can, outside of going to the doctor. Note though, that it will not heal pretty most likely and you need to make sure that you washed the wound out well to avoid infection. I don't know much about witch hazel but a quick google search suggests that it's a useful product. If you do decide to go to the doctor and get stitches, you only have 24 hours before they consider it more of a risk by closing it than by leaving it open (can trap infections inside). Take care and be careful hun. I would advise you also to return to not cutting in such 'accident' prone areas to avoid repeating this scenario.

It should take a while but the fact that it's been cleaned and stopped bleeding fairly quickly makes me think that perhaps you escaped a possibly much worse scenario.
