I'm glad you joined pc. There are alot of supportive people here. Overcoming a low mood is hard. I usually keep things a as simple as possible. I can only handle working pt and im on ssd for my illness. I spend my time doing things that bring me joy. I read. I draw. I spend time with my two kitties. I go to therapy twice a week so it keeps me busy. I go to individual and a dbt group. That stands for dialectical behavior therapy. It gets yr brain out of emotional mind and brings yr wise mind in the forefront. It's where you use both yr emotional mind and yr logical mind which brings you to wise mind. With mi we tend to primarily be only in emotional mind. I can't explain it all here. You should look it up. It helps with low mood, gets you in more positive mindset, you develop higher self esteem at least I have. It's difficult to get out of a depressive episode. Regular therapy and visits to yr pdoc to get you on the right meds helps. Sometimes we just have to hang on and ride it out. But I would look up dbt. If yr town or therapist doesn't have a program for it then you can get a book about it. I wish you luck.
