I'm sorry to hear you're feeling this way You're not alone. We've all been there. I know that I may be some random guy and you have no idea as to who I am, but please feel free to vent your heart out. Sometimes it just helps to talk about it and I'm more then willing to listen and reply . I haven't been on this site that long, but everyone on here seems pretty nice and supportive. I would recommend seeing your psychiatrist as soon as you can. That and keep a close eye on yourself for signs of self harm as you wait for your appointment. If you notice signs go to the hospital.

Here are some things I do:

  1. Drink tea
  2. Listen to relaxing music
  3. Night walks (The nice thing about walking around at night is if it's late enough there's no one outside, not much activity to overwhelm you, you can see the stars, plus I find the night air can kind of help relax you a bit. I live in a small town so I don't know if some of this applies to where you live)
  4. Lay down and watch a TV show
  5. Meditation (Take deep breaths, close your eyes and repeat "I will be okay" out loud)
  6. Do a Google search on something you have an interest in
  7. Youtube
  8. Do some form of art
  9. Write all your feelings down on paper
I find some of those things can sometimes take the edge off.
