I guess it has a different effect on everyone. I stopped taking effexor 11 days ago - from 150 mg to 0 mg because of a pharmacy screw up at first, then I was too many days without. I have not found myself to be too short or angry, save for one brief interaction with my wife that I'd like to live over again (nothing too terrible, I just yelled for a bit). Sometimes I wonder if screwing up the brain chemistry is really a good idea...I keep wondering because effexor did appear to bring me out of a deep depression. Often I wish I didn't know anything about depression, anxiety, medications, mental illness, etc...anyway, I agree about doing things for love. I'm presently in an occupation that makes me, well, miserable, simply to support the dreams/goals/wishes of my wife...
