Okay, I need an insiders perspective. Lately my eight year old autistic son has been climbing on me, insisting on rides. I can never predict when he will do this. Since I have a bad neck, I have tried explaining to him that I can't/won't carry him. The only thing I can think of to do is take off his shirt when he does this. However, I believe he is trying to tell me something, or that something is bugging him, but I can't guess what. How do I get him to stop insisting on the rides? By the way, he is non-verbal.
