Well... last week, I had a conversation with him about it. He himself asked me about my unhappiness. Though he was not happy after knowing the reason. But since then, I can clearly see that he is making a lot of efforts to show his love to me.
(But again, i feel I am being very critical, as I feel he is doing all these out of duty  )

i think you may be overreacting a little, like waiting4 said it may be inexperience that is creating some issues for you, when a man doesn't have a lot of experience, he doesn't have a lot of confidence...so most people something they don't have a lot of confidence or practice in they are not going to do a whole lot unless you bring it to their attention
