Hi Pole cat. I'm not trying to disrespect, but this is a illness that I have. New studies show yes ptsd in childhood trauma can cause brain damage. There is no research I've come across that states the brain can heal and build new pathways to cure ptsd. From my understanding there is no overcoming all forms of ptsd. In cases like myself I have talk therapy and meds to help control symptoms not heal or overcome ptsd.
