I do meditation, have been since I got sober in AA. I think it's a very good coping technique as is deep breathing, exercise and diet. The brain damage in research is the hypothalamus. My point is that this is a very recent finding, so I don't believe this research is finished let alone if scientists know for a fact it can be reversed. I just don't want to think, hooray a cure when the truth may be I can only improve. It can be more discouraging.
If there's a way to get ptsd out of a person's life 35 years after a childhood trauma for that I'm glad as it will be a blessing.
I guess we will all have to agree to disagree.
