I'm on 400 mg it has stabalized my moods for bipolar 1 it's great, I have lost lots of weight . It has killed taste in beverages with fizz, also slowed down my thinking skills, but I will not give it up, I switched from lithium.

As for the sense of smell Am sensitive even before topomax.
