I suspect my therapist avoids saying things like that because she knows I'm still a bit hyper vigilant because of abuse by my last therapist. I'm a firm believer that feeling " weird " needs to be explored- for me it often means I'm ignoring something that I need to pay attention to. I don't think it always means that something is terribly wrong - just that I need to be alert to what other people are saying and doing and how I am feeling.
