I've am on 225mg of Effexor. I started at 150mg back in 2000. I love, if you can love a pill, this med. I immediately notice when I don't take it. All I want to do is cry uncontrollably over everything. When I'm on it, I can control my crying more effectively and I function better. Ask your pharmacist about the two drugs, how they interact, and withdrawal effects. A pharmacist is trained to know how the med affects the human. A PDoc knows about the meds and new medication, but his specialty is not keeping track of how medicines interact. Good luck!
